Airbnb is a renting app that has become a phenomenon in recent times as it allows people to open up their homes for rent to visitors. Airbnb has a very distinct and classy app design that looks good from the get-go. If you are new to the platform, you would have to sign up with an e-mail ID or your Facebook account. The renting app's main tab is the Explore tab. There is a search tab at the top for typing any location, landmark or address. The searched text would ideally be the location where you would be traveling. Main listings and experiences are provided in the tab as well and can be explored directly. After you type in the address or location, you would be asked if you are looking for a temporary place to stay, for a monthly accommodation, or for an experience or activity local to the area. You would then be required to choose the dates of your travel and then provide information of the guests i.e. adults, children and infants. The app uses this information to provide listings/experiences that would be available in the dates mentioned and would match the number of guests as well.
The search result, after processing the information you provide, returns all the options that meet the criteria. You can start looking at individual listings to get more information or you can first apply more filters to narrow the options. Available filters include availability of options like Wi-Fi, heating and kitchen. You can also filter for verified places only that are verified by Airbnb. You can also choose a price range and define the type of place you want i.e. entire house/flat, private room or shared room. You can also filter based on the beds, bedrooms and bathrooms available in the listing. Further filters include the option of cancellation flexibility and are accessible for people with special needs. The filters are so detailed that you would be left with a few listings if you put the filters correctly.

You can further gain information by tapping on any listing. You would find information about the type of place, number of guests allowed, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and other options like self check-in, cancellation policy and the amenities available. The location on Google Map is also clearly available so that you can easily reach the place through the navigation too. Lastly, you can also read the reviews left by the renting app's users to get an idea of their experiences.
